February 10, 20197 yr I picked up a dell r710 and will be changing out the raid controller for one of these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-H310-6Gbps-SAS-HBA-w-LSI-9211-8i-P20-IT-Mode-for-ZFS-FreeNAS-unRAID/162834659601?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I'm unsure about the cables I think these are the right ones as I know I will definitely need the right angle for clearance on the backplane can anyone confirm these are the right ones? https://www.amazon.com/d/Mini-Sas-Cables/CableCreation-2-Pack-Internal-SFF-8087-36Pin/B07CKXFKHT/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1549763311&sr=8-3&keywords=mini+sas+to+mini+sas+right+angle
February 10, 20197 yr Unlike SFF-8087 to SATA which can be forward or reverse breakout, SFF-8087 to SFF-8087 are all the same, so as long as the backplane uses SFF-8087 you're good.
