February 10, 20197 yr I'm looking for a little help getting my new (old) NAS set up. It's an Intel ss4200-e box (Celeron 430, 512MB RAM, 4 x 3TB SATA HDD). The only outputs are: NIC, USB and Firewire, so I'm attempting to install UNRAID via the network accessing from my Win10 laptop. I have followed the instructions for creating the USB flash drive (Kingston Data Traveller 100G3 32GB, FAT32) and have used the Reset + Power button to get the ss4200-e to boot from USB. But I can't find it on the network (Win PowerShell "arp -a"). What do you think I should try or do next? Thanks for your help!
February 10, 20197 yr Community Expert Without a monitor and keyboard I don't think you are going to be able to troubleshoot your issue. How do you know it is even booting? Also, that hardware is going to be marginal at best for Unraid V6.

February 10, 20197 yr Author I can upgrade the RAM to 2GB, but video out is lacking. How would you recommend getting a monitor plugged in?
February 10, 20197 yr Community Expert Without a monitor or IPMI it's going to be very difficult, if not impossible, to troubleshoot, suggest you use different hardware.
