So I could start a preclear script, or a large transfer in midnight commander... reset my main machine... then when I went back I could resume the session to see the progress?

Yes, but it installs on the server, not on the MAC or PC. It is called "screen" and it is described in this post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=2817.msg24827#msg24827 It will work with any telnet session. Joe L.
October 1, 201015 yr the SCREEN package...if you use unMenu, you can find it listed in the Pkg Manager
