Featured Replies

what does that mean?

My cache are 2 encrypted 500gb drives.

They have 217gb used. Share setting is set to min free 50gb.

RC3

I have the feeling like limetech doesnt really want to dig thru why some ppl have problems with newest RCs.

"Share cache full" doesn't mean cache is full, it just means it's over the minimum space setting for a share using cache, writes to that share will be written directly to the array.

So thats very irritating.

Why? It's so you now you're hitting the minimum space setting, if it's set a what you want just ignore.

cache full means for me, cache is full. not cache share limit reached :D

There are two different warnings in the syslog depending on the issue:

share cache full - means what I described above

cache disk full - means you're hitting the cache floor setting.

maybe rename it to "minimum free cache space reached (foldername)"

So it would be constant with the naming in the share options.
