JorgeB
"Share cache full" doesn't mean cache is full, it just means it's over the minimum space setting for a share using cache, writes to that share will be written directly to the array. Quote Link to comment
NewDisplayName
So thats very irritating. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Why? It's so you now you're hitting the minimum space setting, if it's set a what you want just ignore. Quote Link to comment
NewDisplayName
cache full means for me, cache is full. not cache share limit reached 1 Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
There are two different warnings in the syslog depending on the issue: share cache full - means what I described above cache disk full - means you're hitting the cache floor setting. Quote Link to comment
NewDisplayName
maybe rename it to "minimum free cache space reached (foldername)" So it would be constant with the naming in the share options. Edited February 12, 2019 by nuhll 1 Quote Link to comment
