speedyonthehill
Hello all, I have an older server that has been at 4.5.6 for about a decade, retired about 5 years back. I would like to upgrade to the latest version of unraid 6.6. I tried the steps laid out for ver 5 to 6.6, I see in the field it hangs at DMI pool. Is this normal or a problem with the files in the folders? Thanks in advance, Quote Link to comment

speedyonthehill
Good Morning, So 4.5.6 version was on a older gigabyte 32 bit board, just upgraded the motherboard to a 64 ASUS P8P67. Now the 8Gig USB flash that I upgrade to 6.6 keeps cycling over and over and wont load the BZimage? Quote Link to comment

speedyonthehill
I re-ran the unraid key tool, not realizing how they coordinate to the pro. key. just sent a request to the support desk to update the information to my new key from my older 4.5.6 Quote Link to comment
trurl
So did you get it to boot? 22 minutes ago, speedyonthehill said: I re-ran the unraid key tool, not realizing how they coordinate to the pro. key. just sent a request to the support desk to update the information to my new key from my older 4.5.6 Are you referring to the USB Creator Tool? Do you mean you have a key file but you are changing your flash drive? There is a link at the bottom of the Download page explaining key replacement. You can do it automatically in V6. But, if you already gave them the information they need to send you a new key file then maybe just wait for it. Quote Link to comment
