Can't get into Unraid GUI after reboot?

Featured Replies

Hi, I was trying to update my plugins before upgrading and they didn't appear to be able to update. So I read that it could be because of advance buttons and deleted them from the flash drive under /config. After rebooting, I can't load the Unraid GUI. I CAN ping the server and access via telnet. I'm also using pihole on the server if that is affecting it at all? I've attached the diagnostics. Thanks for the help!

According to the diagnostics, Advanced Buttons is still installed

Delete Advanced Buttons.plg from /config/plugins on the flash drive and reboot again.

Hmm I think I deleted the advanced buttons folder hah. Should I replace that folder from a backup? Will try deleting the .plg when I get home, thanks!

Deleting the folder does nothing A .plg will simply recreate it

I see. Just curious...if that's the case then would deleting the .plg file fix the issue? If all I deleted was the folder and now it has been re-created, then nothing has technically changed no?

IDK.  But AdvancedButtons IS incompatible with anything over 6.4  If it doesn't fix it, then you repost your diagnostics

correct

Actually, just deleting files on flash won't do anything to the plugins which are already installed. Rebooting after removing the .plg file would do it.

So I deleted the .plg file and still the same issue. When I try to access the GUI, it tries to "resolve host". I'm wondering if it has anything to do w/ pihole? I can't even access my router. I'm pretty sure I've rebooted my computer since installing pihole in the past though...

Edit: reset my router and can now get into it

Are you saying you still have a problem?

I thought you had solved your problem.

Ah sorry, bad wording. Previously, I also couldn't get into my router as well, but I restarted it and am able to get into my router. I still have the issue where I can't get into my server (same as first post picture). Thanks!

Is this still true? Have you tried both servername and IP address?

I tried both. I had to go into my router and change the DNS back to its original state instead of pihole. Not sure what the issue was, I followed space invader's tutorial. At least I know how to fix it in the future. Thank you for your advice!
