I can see my shares and and access my files over the network but can not see my plex server. Keeps saying Looking for servers. I did a complete clean in stall of unraid and plex and nothing changed. Any help would be great. Thank you

So is this the Plex server webUI that is saying this? Have you tried logging out and back into Plex?

Any chance you could attach a screen shot of the docker tab and the Plex assignments.

Are you able to navigate to

Yes it is the plex webui and all devices I use as well. This thing ran for 2 years no hiccups. I was playing a game on my computer 1 night and heard the beep sound of the server restarting and that night climbed into bed to watch a movie and that's when it all started.

Well your server rebooting is never a good thing but we’ll come to that in a sec.

I’m wondering if your config got corrupted in that reboot perhaps.

Plex does have a repair config process but to establish that that is the problem an you try.

Run this command:
mkdir /mnt/user/appdata/plextemp

Stop the container

Point the Appdata Config Path to that folder.

You’ll have to sign in and stuff again but atleast you’ll know that’s the problem.

Here’s a Plex article covering corrupt db

Well that didnt seem to change any thing but going crazy over this i am going over logs trying to see how this thing ticks and i notice this when checking out the plex logfile under docker tab.Log says its 3:17 Feb 23 but its 7:17 Feb 22 as time opening the log. Unraid has correct time in the time and date tab so where does plex read the time from?

The time zone can be set using an environment variable. Check this forum post about someone else on unRAID having mismatched times albeit with another service. Looks like there’s a few good diagnostic steps provided which may help get to the bottom of the issue
