Make unRAID compatible Docker image

Featured Replies

There is this app I want to deploy https://hub.docker.com/r/bergerx/babybuddy

What needs to be done to make it compatible with unRAID?

0 experience with Docker outside of the unRAID UI but am keen to learn, and on the surface this looks like it should be achievable??

The Dockerfile looks to contain two "images"? a db and front end,  Would i need to fork the source code, and create a separate docker image for each db and front end? if so how would i go about doing this?

Thanks

You could install the image directly with Community Apps advanced mode to search docker regsitry for it. CA will do its best to come up with what needs to be filled out.

Thats what I would try first, it also requires the least amiunt of work. No forking needed.

The search for babybuddy should have at least 1 hit, https://hub.docker.com/r/bergerx/babybuddy

Though this one has a multistep build process if you do this manually, so I'm not sure exactly what the committed image in the docker registry contains. There a lot of instructions at the above link if you were to do this manuallycaveat: i dont know if unraid has docker-compose or if its available in an addon like nerdpack or devpack.
