[6.5.3] can not connect to VM using OSX/vnc

Featured Replies

I've set up a Windows 10 vm, and it works pretty well (besides the audio...). I can connect to it from UNRAID webgui using 'VNC Remote' option in the pulldown menu. But if i try to use vnc from within OSX (High Sierra 10.13.6) using CMD-k e.g. "vnc://10.10.1.4:5900" it just keeps saying 'connecting...' infinite.

If i stop the vm in UNRAID and start it again, it will connect using OSX CMD-k... (only if i do NOT use UNRAID's vnc remote...)

If i stop the OSX vnc session, and try to reconnect, again... 'connecting...' and nothing happens.

If i stop the VM and start it again, CMD-k works... etc.

I have set up the VM with a vnc password.

Any idea's?

Just curious, have you tried the web-vnc on a different browser? I am also MacOS based and when i connect to my windows VM, i have to adjust the vnc connection on the browser (a small configuration setup i have to adjust) but i have noticed that different browsers work differently on MacOS
