Unless you broke the case removing it. Then you are possibly screwed. The best buy WD's come out clean, you can put them back together like it never happened.
June 26, 20197 yr Author Time to get a couple of new drives. What type of WD are best for this? I'd like to be able to put them back together if a get a failed drive again. The My Book Desktop, and Elements Desktop, are about the same price.

Videos galore on doing so.
