I don't know what I am doing wrong but I just cannot get the time on the Unraid servers to stay correct with my time zone. I have the time zone file loaded on the flash drive and the Time zone set to custom and a NTP enabled.

 

This really throws off my parity checks at the beginning of each month.

Can someone please help me with this?

Just check 'update time automatically' and then chose your appropriate time zone from the drop down list.

 

Or turn that option off and set your time manually.  You will then have to update it manually to account for daylight savings time (if your area uses it).

'Settings' tab, 'Date and Time' section, 'Use NTP', Yes or No.

If you downloaded a timezone file then in "Timezone" you should choose custom.

 

Downloaded timezone file should be name timezone.

 

Version 4.5.6 has a Boatload of time zones.
