older file system is reiserfs, will this be a problem forward

Last one,

I noticed that the file system in the older version is the reiserfs. Will this become a problem at any point? Is there a way to change the file system with out losing any of the data on the array? I know it's a stupid question, but I have to ask.

Depends.  If files are actively being written to the drives in question then the answer is maybe.  Reiser is a dead filesystem, and there have already been cases where a seemingly inocuous patch to the kernel has caused issues with it.  Best to switch over to XFS

I converted all my disks from Reiserfs to XFS a couple of years ago. The process is well documented in these forums. You need one disk that is not currently in the array if you don’t have all data backed up elsewhere as the disks must be reformatted. You can covert them one at a time.
