March 2, 20197 yr Last one, I noticed that the file system in the older version is the reiserfs. Will this become a problem at any point? Is there a way to change the file system with out losing any of the data on the array? I know it's a stupid question, but I have to ask.

Reiser is a dead filesystem, and there have already been cases where a seemingly inocuous patch to the kernel has caused issues with it. I converted all my disks from Reiserfs to XFS a couple of years ago. The process is well documented in these forums. You need one disk that is not currently in the array if you don’t have all data backed up elsewhere as the disks must be reformatted. You can covert them one at a time.
