March 21, 20197 yr I just installed FileBrowser for the first time and admin/admin doesn't work for me
March 21, 20197 yr I installed it. Ran it for the first time. It asked me to log in. I googled it found the admin/admin. Tried it multiple times and it never lets me in s it running? yes Any Infos in the log file? log just says 2019/03/21 17:17:53 Using config file: /.filebrowser.json 2019/03/21 17:17:53 Listening on [::]:80 Did you mount the db correctly? yep Edited March 21, 20197 yr by SplitHoirzon
March 21, 20197 yr Author Hey, okay its not to compare to Krusader. FileBrowser is more a web based file browser for sharing files etc. Sorry that I didn´t found an answere. Cheers
March 23, 20197 yr Hi knex666... Don't suppose you could provide a little bit more detailed install / conf instructions for the novice pls? No worries if not! Thanks Lee
March 23, 20197 yr Author Would we no big deal. Where exacly are you struggeling? You click install an choose the mapped path for /srv to you data and you choose the /db folder to maybe appdata/filebrowser Just ask or lets meet on skype or discord. Cheers
March 24, 20197 yr Attached is my current config, but when I hit the WEB UI it just says site can not be reached.
March 24, 20197 yr Author Hey, okay. But if you click on apply it says that the docker started successfully? Anything useful in the containers log file? What happens if you enter http://192.168.0.25/ into your web browser? Cheers Edited March 24, 20197 yr by knex666
March 24, 20197 yr Going to the web browser says This site can’t be reached 192.168.0.25 took too long to respond. The log states; 2019/03/24 08:37:09 Listening on [::]:80 2019/03/24 08:37:09 Using config file: /.filebrowser.json
March 24, 20197 yr Author Do you have this problem with other containers where you set a fix ip? for me all is set correctly, so seems to be a network issue. Maybe lets meet on skype or discord for a short chat. Cheers
March 27, 20197 yr Further question... I can't get this to work when I access the NAS from a WAN connection via OpenVPN... Is there anything I can do to make it work... I am attempting to access it the same way I would from the LAN connection....
March 27, 20197 yr Author VPN should not stop you from doing that unless you can´t reach the network. Do you reach all hosts of the subnet 192.168.0.***? do you have access to another container? To exclude the issue from the container. So I am running at the same way so it shout be a network/VPN config thing. Cheers

April 1, 20197 yr 13 hours ago, turbocharger said: How can I change the port number instead of 80? Thanks. like alturismo said, First set to Bridge mode then click "+ Add another Path, Port,...." once there do the following: Config Type: Port Name: blank or whatever you want Container Port: 80 Host Port: What ever port you want to set ( I have 100 for example) Connection Type: TCP Description What ever you want After this, press ADD Button and test.
April 1, 20197 yr Worth adding that to connect you'd have to go {yourip}:{portyourusing}/files For example, my IP is 192.168.0.10, I've set it to port 8085.. So I use; 192.168.0.10:8085/files/ You can change the default WEB UI address on the docker settings under the advanced view.

April 16, 20197 yr Is there a way this can have support to view thumbnail? at least for pictures. I was trying to read the github, it appears it can do it but needs some dependencies... not sure if this is correct though...
