10gbe Card not working since changing from Intel to AMD

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have just upgraded from an Intel 3770 to a Threadripper 2950X and after sorting out all the issues with my VM's I noticed that my 10gbe connection was not working?

I have removed it from the system re-inserted but cannot find any settings to change/adjust for this?

upon connecting the cable the lights are all flashing but there is nobody home!

Can anyone offer any advice please?

10GbE NIC is currently eth2, you can change that in interface rules, a reboot is need to take effect.

lol, what would I and the unRAID community do without you Johnnie? 😄

I have addressed that issue and now all working, any idea why I cannot bond/bridge the two on-board nics together? if I select bonding or bridging they will only show the current interface so I cannot add eth0 to eth1  I have an unmanaged 16port switch so nothing fancy just thought I would make use of the two ports seeing as they are there! 🙂

You have two bonds, disable bond1 on eth1 and add that one to bond0.
