System log after system shutdown - empty log

Recommended Posts

Hi friends,

A few days ago, my Unraid was no longer accessible. (interface & SSH)

So I had to make a shutdown / start of the system machine. (Fortunately for me, the discs are in an external box so no power cut)

After rebooting I was surprised to see the logs empty because I wish to know the cause of the error.

Is there a way to keep the logs in case of a shutdown / boot of the system ?

Or, I did not look at the right place ?

Thank you for your answer Squid,

Indeed, I posted too empty without indicating my version ... 😅
I was in 6.6.6, and I just went in 6.6.7.

On the other hand, it seems to me not to have seen new syslog options but I will look at it tonight in more details.

6.6.7 < 6.7 😅

At the moment 6.7 is at rc5 status and you can get it via the Bug Reports->Prereleases section of the forum.
