What do you guys have your Spin Time Delay set to?

    I have mine set to 30Minutes. I've had it set that way for years. Honestly I couldn't tell you why I picked it, but that's what I have it set to. 😁

    I've had mine set to 2 hours for years, no idea why.  Just didn't know what's the best, having them spin more or resting more?

    Neither. Transitions are what you are trying to avoid, so try to keep from having too many events, spin up or spin down. Make your spin down timer long enough so consecutive accesses don't have to spin up the drive again.

     

    Fewer events = better.
