Accidentally dropped files in wrong place

Featured Replies

Setting up my first Unraid server, and I seem to have done something silly.

I've got a "movies" share set up to high-water across disks 1-2 (out of 4). I used Krusader to copy several terabytes to it, but somehow accidentally dragged and dropped to root>media instead of root>media>movies... so I ended up with thousands of shares, and spread to disk 3.

I used Krusader to drop the files back to the movies share where they should be, and Unraid removed all those shares and is back to showing just the movies share.

But the files are still spread to disk 3, and Unraid reports "Share is outside the list of designated disks". And browsing the network to the Tower share, it still shows all the hundreds of individual folders along with the "movies" share.

Is this a thing Unraid will eventually resolve on its own, or do I need to do something?

Try the Unbalance plugin.

Seems like that'll do the trick! Thanks! Looks like a fantastic tool - surprised something like it's not built-in. Now to wait another 10 hours to see the result...
