Show free space on mapped drives?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I searched for this but couldn't find anything. Maybe I am using the wrong keywords. In FreeNAS, when I mapped a drive in Windows, the share shows total and free space. In unRAID, it just shows up as a network location. Is it possible to show free space/total space for shared drives in Windows? Thanks

I like this feature too. so +1 :)

It's the same as FreeNAS, as long as it's mapped it will show the used/free space.

This is what I see with FreeNAS:

And with unRAID:

Is there a setting I need to change?

I figured it out, you need to right-click 'This PC' and "Map a network drive", "Add network location" is what I was doing before

If you just right click in the 'network locations' area it won't give you the map option.
