Lignumaqua
I recently installed a second cache drive as a pool drive. Cache now consists of 2 x SanDisk 1TB SSD drives. I've seen no symptoms of problems, but I see this in the log of the new drive after it had been running a while.. Note that the issue is 'NCQ disabled due to excessive errors'. Is this a sign that the new SSD drive is bad and should be RMA'd or is there something else I should check? I understand that NCQ is critical for SSD drive performance. Also - how do I force Unraid to reenable NCQ and try again? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
First thing to try is to replace the cables. Quote Link to comment
Lignumaqua
Thanks. I'll try that. However, how do I reenable NCQ so it will try again? Does a reboot do that? Quote Link to comment
