Losing Network config when switching between VNC & GPU Passthrough

I built a Windows 10 VM and configured my network settings.  Then I changed the graphics card to one of my 1080Ti's for passthrough.  The VM boots up but it loses the newtork config (went from static to DHCP).  It's as if the whole network card is getting reset because the the name of the adapter goes from Ethernet Adapter 1 to Ethernet Adapter 2.  This keeps happening every time I go back and forth between VNC and GPU passthrough.  Any way to stop this from happening?
