surfshack66
I have a number of user-defined networks, which I then assign to containers depending on what vlan I want them to be in. I've noticed that containers use the DNS server defined in Settings->Network Settings. After some research, I found that I can define the DNS server per container. https://docs.docker.com/v17.09/engine/userguide/networking/default_network/configure-dns/ Can you add a field in the Docker Settings page to define DNS as well, instead of defaulting to the DNS server defined for unraid? tjb_altf4
Not there, if you expand the template view to advanced (toggle is top left right) it will expose extra fields including one called Extra Parameters. Edited April 2, 2019 by tjb_altf4 1 Quote Link to comment

With that settings the docker will use both DNS, it is something "normal" in case 1 fails to add 2 DNS, you can add 1 only and will work as well Edited December 27, 2023 by L0rdRaiden Quote Link to comment
