I haven't heard of any problems with Windows, it seems to be only OSX

    My guess is its the way OSX deals with SMB, I guess the only way to really find out is to test it with unraid 5 with AFP.  I will be upgrading to it once I know its safe and has been tested for a few weeks.

    If you turn off genius it is much faster
