I am beating myself apart over here. I have read countless posts and articles and can't figure this out. Time to make a post for support.

 

Trying to passthrough a dedicated card to a vm with no luck.

 

Gigabyte GA-7TESM Bios F9

 

It appears to disable onboard vga video with a card installed. I can get video out of the card, but when passing through, no luck.

Thought this was a clue, but can't seem to find out where to go from there.

You need to pass in all the devices in the IOMMU group, in your case, it means you need to pass in:

1002:aab0] 02:00.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Cape Verde/Pitcairn HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 7700/7800 Series]

Unfortunately that was my first mistake, but didn't change the error.
