Has any  one used a "Promise Technology J610s"  as a JBOD for additional storage?  there's a number of them on Ebay at some what reasonable prices.  I don't see anything inthe product info that would make me think it's not compatible,  but i'm fairly new to unraid and before i start spending money i want to make sure i'm not get a big brick of worthless.

    Those enclosure was 3Gb/s, so with large no. of disk access in same time would slow in speed.

     

    I won't suggest even you got 16bay @USD400 + shipping charge.
