AFP in UnRaid

Featured Replies

I think I read that this was coming in 5.0 which will be awesome. I have read install instructions for avahi and netatalk but I just dont get how to get it in there. Has anyone taken a default installation, get afp working and made an img of it some how to distribute? Is that allowed? Link please? ;)

I got AFP working, but had permission issues (as to be expected). I never succeeded to properly install Avahi, but that's probably caused by my inexperience with linux. I'm not aware of any "easy to install" package. Recently, Lime Tech confirmed me that AFP will come soon. FWIW, I believe the very kind writer of the tutorial stopped using AFP himself and advises others to wait for the next release of unRAID. That's what I'm doing, but of course really look forward to unRAID native AFP support!
