ich777
Hello, got a really strange issue, i've created a VM and isolated and also pinned the CPU Cores 13, 14, 15, 29, 30, 31 to the VM. Now i've set up a Alpine Linux Handbreak Docker and if i start a batch conversion of the video files (3 to 5 min clips) it starts the first conversion with all cores without the isolated cores and from the second one it takes only a single core from the isolated ones. Is this a common problem or do i have to set all my other cores who are not isolatet to the dockers that i've run (If i do this for this specific container than it runns on all non isolated cores)? Hope someone can explain me this... Regards, ich777 Edit: Running Unraid Version: 6.7.0-rc7 Container: HandBrake (jlesage/handbrake/) Also experience this in my jDownloader container if it extracts a download it maxes out one (mostly the last one nr. 31) isolated core. bastl
You might have the same problem a couple users already reported in other 6.7 RC versions where the UI shows utilisation on some cores where actual no load is on. Compare the load shown in the UI to htop Quote Link to comment
ich777
@bastl Thank you for the reply, but i think this isn't the case here, the first clip converts in about 45 seconds with ~170fps and all non isolated cores used, after the first clip the last isolatet core maxes out at 100% and the convert of the second clip takes 8 to 10 minutes with 10-20 fps.
