April 12, 20197 yr I am sorry if this question has been asked and answered earlier, I tried but couldn't find what I am specifically looking for. I have two questions: I've setup mover to run at 02:00 every night, but I believe Sonarr completed download handlers moves files. How do Unraid Mover and Sonarr Completed Downloads Handler work? I want my drives to stay spun down, and only start up at 02:00 when mover kicks in, and not on individual completed download. My Downloads folder is Cache Only and Media folder is Not use Cache. But I saw some of the Media folders were being created on Cache and I had to move them manually. What's worng with my share settings?

Mover and Sonarr are two independent operations that do not know about each other. It is probably Sonarr that is creating the Media folder on the cache. The easiest solution is simply to set the Media Share to use Cache:Yes. That way Sonar creates the folder on the cache when it wants to move things (which is very quick as the files stay on the same device). Mover later kicks in to move the files to the Array. When you set the Media share to Use Cache:No setting that tells mover to not try and move any files that logically belong to that share but that are physically on the cache for some reason.
