Stuck starting services

Featured Replies

Hello all, apologies if I've missed a similar problem topic.

I've put myself together a nice little server which I would like to run Unraid on, however I'm having a little trouble with setting up the array.

I've tried XFS and BTRFS, both encrypted and unencrypted and only unencrypted BTFS is working at the moment (which is frustrating as I wanted to encrypt my data). I've tried adding all the drives and also only starting with a single drive, it has the same effect. I've also tried some old drives which has the same problem.

The symptom is that when starting or formatting the array it hangs, one or two cores get maxed out but only waiting for IO.

The mainboard is a Supermicro A2SDi-H-TF and I've attached diagnostics for the system while it is in the stuck state.

Does anyone have any pointers on what to look at to help debugging further?

Thanks.
