[SOLVED] Drives spin up from watching Plex

Featured Replies

Hello everybody, I have the following problem: The hard disks of my server spin up one after the other when only one episode of a series is being watched. It didn't do that before. I'm pretty sure it's the Plex docker, but I can't tell you why. In the past, it really only started the hard drive on which the episode of the series you watched was located.

I attached the Diasnostic.

Thanks in advance!

It was the integrity plugin. I just deinstalled it and the drives not longer are spinning up.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm curious how you figured out what plugin was causing the unexpected spinups.

I thought about plugins and and Docker container which were actively using the array and could have an effect on it. That brought it down to like three and the intergrity plugin was one of them.
