This card is fine for a Windows box, NOT recommended for unraid.

 

Marvell based controllers have a bad reputation for randomly dropping drives in unraid.

Interesting as  I ran it with no issues before I went to my new setup.

Yeah, it doesn't bite everybody, but when it does, it sure is a pain.

google unraid marvell and you'll see.

I can confirm problems with such sort of cards. Worked for months without issues, but then it happend i replaced drives but it was just that crap card... xD

 

Its sad they dont work well, bc they are cheap and easy compared to the real HBAs...

 

Get a LSI one
