April 17, 20197 yr Im running a fresh installation of Manjaro and I opened up firefox to check on my unraid VMs and was very disappointed to see that novnc isnt working. With Linux VMs I can see the terminal (all my Linux VMs are server distros so no desktop), but with my Windows 10 VM (the important one, lol) I just get a black screen. Update: I just tried Chromium and it doesn't work there either. Edited April 17, 20197 yr by relink
April 17, 20197 yr Author hmmm. I'm running 66.0.3. I also noticed that my cursor disappears completely when I am over the area of the window where the VM should be shown.
April 18, 20197 yr Author I still cant figure this out. it works just fine in Windows and MacOS, but it doesnt work in Manjaro using either Firefox or Chromium...I guess I can try Chrome, but I REALLY didnt want it installed on my computer.
April 18, 20197 yr Why are you stuck on NoVNC? It's convenient when it works, but it's really a second rate solution to what should be handled by a real VNC client. Install Remmina with vnc and be happy.
April 18, 20197 yr Author Thanks for the tip, Remmina seems to work just fine. Good thing too, I was starting to worry as no other VNC viewer was working either. I had already tried Realvnc, and Ultravnc, and neither of those worked either.
