captain_video
I'm using an Asus A88X-PRO motherboard with a quad-core AMD A10 CPU (I forget the exact model). The motherboard can take up to 64 GB of memory (4 x 16 GB). I just upgraded it to 32 GB and it's running fine. I checked the UEFI BIOS on the motherboard when I booted it up and it sees all four 8GB DIMMs. I checked the dashboard in unRAID (Pro version 6.6.7) and it says there's 32 GB installed, but only 14.977 GB usable with a max installable capacity of 64 GB. Is there a limitation on the amount of RAM that unRAID can use? Edited April 20, 2019 by captain_video Quote Link to comment
Squid
I had the exact same motherboard running 24 gig ram with 24 usable. I have seen those symptoms on other hardware of mine when running mismatched set of ramDo the sticks match each other? Are they on the QVL list?Sent via telekinesis Quote Link to comment
BRiT
My system runs on 128 GB for the past couple years with no issues. So your issue is likely mismatched memory that Squid is saying. Quote Link to comment
