Hi ich777,

I'm not sure if you can help with this, but since you've created several game server containers for Unraid, I figured you might have some insight.

I'm currently developing my own game server Docker container based on some of your previous images. Locally, everything works perfectly. The server starts and runs without issues. However, when I try to run the same image on my Unraid server, I get an error during startup indicating that it runs out of memory.

The strange part is that both my local Windows PC and the Unraid server have the same amount of RAM, and there should be plenty of memory available. I also inspected the container on Unraid to see if there’s a memory limit being applied, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Is there anything specific in Unraid that could be limiting memory allocation for Docker containers by default?

The Satisfactory image needs a small update to its config.

Since the 1.1 update the game also requires port 8888 to be open.

You can add this yourself by adding a new port in the template.

I just wanted to pass it on.

I stil cannot get my ASA conatiner to start if I try to use ANY mods. I have brands new container and image of the docker cont, the steamcmd and server files and newly downloaded mod files, all the config files are correct as well as command line, it just will not start up correctly.

Sorry but I can't support modding since this would be too much for me and, it was at least in the past, sometimes the case that broken/incompatible mods prevented the server start.

Maybe @Mainfrezzer can help.

Which modsystem are you trying to use? the build in one or AsaApi?

I am working on this but there is some DLL verification issue that occurs when using WINE to boot up the server, since there are no Linux server files available. I was not able to resolve the issue as I'm not really an expert on WINE but I will keep checking in to see if they make a Linux version of the files available and if so, will build a docker and template for it. And, if time allows, keep trying to resolve the WINE issue.

For now I resorted to a Windows VM, really a shame since its the only reason I have to have Windows on my server. 😒

i belive its going to be AsaApi? as its done throught steam command in the command line/config files. it grabs listed mods and installs them first time you start the server after adding them then after it checks them for updates and loads them on server start if working correctly anyway, the stage mines gettin stuck at is after the update check and mod load.

As i said previously the two mods where working before so I dont know why they would not now thats why I was asking incase something had changed on your side of things and I needed to re direct a folder path or something.

that not asaapi then, which mod ids are you trying to use?

must be the inbuilt one then, I took a stab at api because of the web address it shows on startup and it has api in it.image.png

as far as i know the mod id's are what curseforge refer too them as and the mod id's match up to the mods i intended to be using when it starts and the name pops up

In no offence but nothing has changed in terms of the container.

The only things that could have changed are the game itself, since it will get updates sooner or later, or the mod got update or it got not updated and therefore it might be incompatible.

So to speak nothing changed in terms of the container and even if I push container updates these are usually only contain security updates.

NO offence taken or intended. I just wanna fix it 👍

I've had this happen. Try going to your mods folder (\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ShooterGame\Mods) and deleting all the files to force the mods into a fresh install. That always fixed it for me.

Probably wrong configured path in combination with the share settings.

If you are using /mnt/cache/appdata/... in the template you have to make sure that you have the Mover set to take no action and not move the data off from the cache drive.

Satisfactory 1.1 on Unraid 7.1.4 will not work for me. The log seems to show a cycle of starting up, crashing and doing it all over again. I see a post above about port 8888, and that is there. I also deleted the steam app folder and the image before loading it all again. Still the same. I don't want to dump all sorts of info, but if you tell me what will help, I'll provide it.

Working on getting your CoreKeeper template up and running and running into segmentation faults and all kind of errors. Posting my CoreKeeperServerLog. Willing to troubleshoot further just not really sure where to start, I've run the 7dtd server for many years with no issues, this one just won't boot for me, I see some errors in there but figured I'd reach out before making things worse. I am pretty noob here, and dont know where else to look as google hasn't been helpful thus far. I used the Ark Survival Evolved app on unraid to make a server and got it working earlier this year. My friends and I were all playing and we took a break the last few months. I spun up the server again today to try and play and noticed that I could not see it in my game servers on steam. I then realized ark se seems to have gotten a substantial update. The logs on the docker container for the server look as I expect and remember them from before, but something seems to be broken. Is there anyone who might direct me on what I can do to troubleshoot?
