Arma 3 exile mod server is not showing up. What file am I suppose to edit to configure the server?

What exactly did you want to modify? Doese it show up in the lan browser?

It works like a normal installation of a dedicated server look into your .../appdata/arma3exilemod/gamefiles folder there should be all files.

i already did that, i port forward this port 27500 to my tower and gave them my public ip and they aren't able to connect to my server game.

You must also portforward 27015 are you sure that you've forwarded UDP?

No problem here:

Sorry i see it from my network but i can't help to test it from outside since i'm not owning the game and the person that requested the game never said that it not works, can your friends try to connect trough the steam server browser like i did in the picture above?

The only thing that matters is that they connect through your STATICIP:27015 (the port :27015 is important since it's the query port).

You can, go to View -> Servers -> Favorites -> Add Favourite -> Enter the IP:PORT -> Add server to list -> Refresh -> it now should show up

(I'm not 100% sure if it's named like this since i'm using Steam in german but you will probably find it)

Have you clicked refresh? I know this error after adding the server and double clicking it bevor clicking refresh.

Sorry but i don't own the game and i will pull it from the CA App if you confirm once more that it doesn't work.

(Also i see you try to connect to 27016 in the background? Did you change the port?)

I will look into it as soon as i got home from work, have you installed a cache drive on your server also can you post a picture of the configuration page from the container in unraid? Which version runs your unraid server?

I am on the most recent version of Unraid, and I was not using a cache.

There is a good chance this is a Gmod issue, since your SCP server runs just fine with near identical settings on the same share (only difference being port)

There is something wrong with the download of the gamefiles please check if the links in the docker template are working, many servers which host the exilemod go offline and i can't find a consistent hoster that hosts the files always...

(One thing is that you can try is that you change the GameFiles path to /mnt/cache/... -if you have a cache drive installed)

There lies the problem, for some containers you must use a cache drive otherwise they will not work (Don't Starve Together is also such a container) i don't know why this is, this problem exists since Unraid version 6.8.0

Does it need the game files or server files?

Yes, actually that's the game itself, since there are parts that are copyright protected i can't include this files in the container itself?

Or did you mean that you need the variables if so yes you need them since if you change something in the template all data will be lost.

I'm trying to host a CS:GO server.
I've got a static IP, I've port forwarded the port to my server, and it's not online.

I was sure where I was supposed to put in the login token (screenshot added).

image.png.6037c92c8973d99f1302a1194571f429.png

I've added a screenshot of my setting.image.thumb.png.67b8dcbc443f16e4a00c1781845e744c.png

The docker log says this:

Quote

[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; SteamAPI_IsSteamRunning() failed.

I've tried to look through everything. But I can't get it to work. Does anyone have a beginners guide to it?

That's wrong in the key section should be 'GAME_PARAMS' at the value you have to append '+sv_setsteamaccount' followed by your key:

This is not a real error, the dedicated server can't find a running instance of steam but why would you run a steam instance on your dedicated server (this is only a 'Warning' not an Error.

So it should look like this, if my token as "1234":

Is that correct?

I'm just trying to get it to work at first, then I will run it with a different IP.

There is one space missing between '+sv_setsteamaccount' and your generated token (btw the token is much longer than 1234 like in my example)

eg: +game_type 0 +game_mode 0 +mapgroup mg_active +map de_dust2 +sv_setsteamaccount 1234567890ABCDEFGHIJ1234567890AB

Also it should be possible to see it in the steam server browser if you run the server on your network (see a few posts above)

Like in this post but please be sure to change the ip and port to your configuration:
