As said a few times already, I don't own the game, if someone is willing to donate it to me I can look into it.

Happy to. Send some details across and I'll gift you a copy of the game. :)

Palworld  Pls.

Already done but it always takes one to two hours to show up in the CA App. ;)

EDIT: Please note that after you've first set up the server it can take up to 5 minutes to appear in the server list because of the massive amounts of servers created currently (of course you need to properly forward the game port in your router) :

Please keep in mind that currently you have to wait around 5 minutes so that you find the server in the server list... :/

This is crazy what's going on there, almost like it was back when Valheim was released...

Also don't forget if you edit the config to first stop the container, otherwise the dedicated server will overwrite your settings with the old ones if you simply restart the container.

You are a legend, just booting one up now.

i dont see an option to put in a password ingame ? am i missing something ? ^^

EDIT:

found in the FAQ if we connect directly, password is not supported.
so i guess we must wait till it populated in the community server list:

Nothing to worry about.

Please also update you Unraid version. Seems like you are using an outdated version.

Can you please tell me what issue? 🤣

The container is working fine in it‘s base configuration as long as you‘ve properly forwarded the port in your router and waited for the server to show up in the server list. As said above that can take a few minutes.

The warning/errors that you see in the log are nothing to worry about and won‘t prevent the server from running properly.

Ok, thank you, for your fast response :)

Hey, where do you set the password? Also, from this and your edit, that's completely broken right now right?

In the config (please read the description where to find it).

What is broken? You have to wait until your server is listed in the server browser, currently you can‘t direct connect to a server that is password connected, but that should be fixed soon.

You can also remove the password by leaving it empty, then it‘s possible to direct connect.

I'm big dumb dumb. I missed it on my first look at the config file.

As a side note, it looks like players who are using xbox live to play the game aren't able to join dedicated servers (like, there is no place to even see the dedicated servers.) Also, no cross play between xbox/xbox live and Steam. Really unfortunate limitation.

You know that they announced that and that is even mentioned in their Steam Community hub.

I do now. :D I didn't do a ton of reading up prior to release (on those specifics at least). Not a big deal, I bought it on Steam now instead.

So I thought mine was messed up too cause it wasn't showing up in the community list. Once I read here that it could take a few minutes cause there's so many servers. I opened up the game and spammed the "Display next 200 results" button a couple times then searched again. I noticed the list of servers growing so I hit it a couple more times and there my server showed up. So nothing appears to be broken guys. (Well except direct connecting via IP when there's a password set but that's a known issue on the dev's side.) There's just ALOT of servers getting spun up by the community.

You weren't kidding... that's a LOT of servers.

I put in the ADMIN password I created and it said it didn't match. Trying the non-admin one next.

This worked for me 👍

Trying to get the PalWorld docker setup.

I'm having trouble getting the changes I am making to the PalWorldSettings.ini to stick. I can make changes, save the file, and then when the server reboot it just completely overwrites the file back to default settings again. I tried changing the file to read-only but it overwrites the file anyways.

Anybody else having this issue? Am I doing something wrong?

Configuration: The configuration is located at: .../Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini
