Do you have an idea on how to add the files to turn the docker into premium?

Not possible, the maintainer made it a few times clear that he don't want to have 3rd party's to be able to add premium.

I think he has a dedicated Docker container where you cann add the license.

What is the exact issue, do you have any logs?

On what hardware do you run PZ?

Hi, I recently replaced my cache drive and followed the steps from the unraid moderators etc, most of the game servers from you are working 100% fine after I setup everything however my Ark Ascended servers are not working, I backup up my saves, then removed them completely deleted the cache and user app data and then tried to reinstall them but they never start up properly and then start "boot looping"

I can attempt to get logs etc I just dont have any idea where to even start looking for the issue at this point

I managed to get this, the ark server gets to here, it spamms that message and then prints "Terminated" and the docker restarts

Here is a copy of my config, its exactly the same for all of the maps just the ports and names differ

I am also having the same problem as above and my setup is exactly the same apart from I did the unraid update to 7.2.3

The issue seems to be an ark specific one with versions after 77.27 ... not sure if there is a way to bypass it or a quick fix ... I am just going to hold out for a patch while I look for some workaround

Anyone have any luck getting ASA to run? Also getting the above No such file errors

Mine is still doing this as well, people have gotten it to work by copying a file for the audio driver into the server files but it doesnt work for everyone

here is a github discussion if you look for Deciphersoul's comment it might help you
Also for anyone that is potentially reading this and could offer some assistance, the actual game error is

Caaarrrlll had us most of the way there. I got it working on my Ich777 version of the install by changing their steps a little. The main difference is that the file name doesn't need (and can't be renamed). If I followed the github instructions and renamed from xaudio2_9redist.dll to xaudio2_9.dll it wouldn't work. Also, the comments on the variables were not needed.

Step 1: Download https://www.nuget.org/api/v2/package/Microsoft.XAudio2.Redist/1.2.11

Step 2: Extract microsoft.xaudio2.redist.1.2.11.nupkg (I used 7zip, but I think you can also rename it to a .zip file if needed)

Step 3: Find file in the extracted package at: xaudio2_extract/build/native/release/bin/x64/xaudio2_9redist.dll

Step 4: Move xaudio2_9redist.dll into shootergame folder. My path was: appdata\ark-sa\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64

Step 5: Start docker

Sorry, but I'll deprecate this container since I even don't play ARK and they seem to break the dedicated server often.

@korefuji & @RuneMason1 the Astroneer dedicated server is now fixed, I finally had some time to look into it.

Please force an update from the container and it should work again.

If not:

  1. Stop the container

  2. Delete the WINE64 folder from your astroneer directory

  3. Start the container

What would it take to keep support for this container alive? This is the main reason I have unraid at all and I'd be more than happy to contribute to the cost of upkeeping it

Sorry, but I won't maintain it any further, maybe @Mainfrezzer is able to create a template for Unraid for ASA.
Main reason is because I don't play the game, I enjoy Astroneer and similar games much more.

I have really enjoyed your work on Ark Ascended. Please reconsider. It is the reason in part why I use unraid and my favorite game.

Thank you, that made it work for me!

It's unbelievable how Wildcard more and more screws up the technical basis of their game. I've been hosting (and playing, but not anymore for myself) ARK sincve 2018, and it constantly gets worse.

Just to make sure - you're not interested in updating any previous game servers, correct? Like your Project Zomboid docker image? I'm just trying to figure out how to update to the latest version, but if you're not sure I'll keep digging.

What do you mean exactly?

All currently available game server containers should work and auto update themselfes on start/restart.

I updated it recently so that it is compatible with the latest alpha version.

If the container doesn't auto update the dedicated server itself on start/restart please do the following:

  1. Stop the container

  2. Delete the steamapps folder from the game server directory

  3. Start the container

  4. Click on the container icon within Unraid, click on Logs and see if it pulls an update

However this is more a steamcmd issue than anythinge else since steamcmd is used to check for updates each time the container starts/reatarts.

Hey I'm currently trying to pull a B42 version of the Project Zomboid. I tried a complete fresh install yesterday but it seems to only pull build 41.78.16. Is there a certain variable or flag I need to set in the Docker configuration to pull the B42 version specifically since it's currently beta?

What does the log say? That's really less information.

Also Icarus?
