Looking to upgrade my previous machine with a new case, motherboard, and possible cpu/gpu. My main uses will be plex or emby along with a few other dockers (nzbget, sonarr, etc). I currently have a i3 4130 processor. I am looking to start doing some remote plex/emby access for family/friends. My main question is whether it would be better to keep the i3 and buy a quadro p2000 for hardware transcoding, or to upgrade both the cpu/gpu with maybe an i7 and something like a nvidia 1060? It seems both options would be pretty close in price.
