April 28, 20197 yr So i finally upgraded my server, everthing seems to work just fine, besides that i need to change mac adress in order to get access again... How can i change the mac adress via ssh? /boot/config/network.cfg ? April 28, 20197 yr Maybe I am.not as well versed in this area, but I thought MAC addresses were assigned at the hardware level and couldn't be changed. The only place I know for sure you can customize your MAC address was for virtual NICs presented to VMs.
April 28, 20197 yr Author You can change them very easy. Even in windows there its called Lokal something adress (via gui). Ive read about: HWADDR=00:11:12:7E:11:6C Ive put this line now into /boot/config/network.cfg and restart, maybe it works. Edited April 28, 20197 yr by nuhll
