ximian
Hello everyone, I have an issue that is driving me nuts. I have 2 interfaces located on the network and 1 Quad on a PCIE. One of my local network interfaces is used for the management of unraid set on eth0. eth0 is set on network 192.168.1.0/26 (255.255.255.192) -- 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.62 (63 is broadcast) (THESE ARE NOT MY REAL ADDRESSES) eth0 has an ip of 192.168.1.15 --- GATEWAY is 192.168.1.1 I have Bond1 set on eth1 and eth2. Bond1 has no address but does have an assigned VLAN - 500. Bond1 is set on network 192.168.1.64/26 (255.255.255.192) --- 192.168.1.64-192.168.1.127 (127 is broadcast) Bond1 has an ip of 192.168.1.66 --- GATEWAY is 192.168.1.65 I have Bond3 set on eth3 and eth4. Bond3 has no address but does have an assigned VLAN - 600. Bond3 is set on network 192.168.1.128/26 (255.255.255.192) --- 192.168.1.128-192.168.1.191 (191 is broadcast) Bond1 has an ip of 192.168.1.130--- GATEWAY is 192.168.1.129 Bond1 and Bond3 are set to 802.3AD (LAG interfaces). The switch configurations are set the same way and the LAG is set to LACP and the ports are TAGGED with the right VLANS. Both BONDS have bridged enabled. Whenever I reboot the system Eth0 and Bond3 come up and work. The switch shows the LAG interfaces of Bond3 come up with no issues. However Bond1 is not coming up and not showing as the LAG being up. I need to bring down the intefaces eth1 and eth2 and then back up for it to work. Now I have access to that network. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. If I need to dump the config file let me know but I will need to obfuscate the addresses. Thanks. UPDATE: UnRaid version Version: 6.7.0-rc7 If I change the metric on Bond1 then the lag interfaces come up and I am able to communicate to dockers on that network. 🙂 Edited April 28, 2019 by ximian Quote Link to comment
ximian
WTF .. lol no one doing what I am doing No responses on this ... 🙂 Update on the matter though and I am scratching my head on this one. Both Bonds are setup the same way, yet the first Bond0, my mac addresses are seen on my switch at L2 and the Bond3 the mac addresses are seen at L3. This is not right.... They should both be seen at L3. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Quote Link to comment
