April 30, 20197 yr Hi All, Had some issues with the server and gave it a reboot, only to be faced with it booting straight into the Bios, I took the unRAID USB drive to my other PC and it was completely corrupt, so I've reformatted the USB and rebooted, everything is looking okay, but I now have to assign my drives, I had 1x Parity, 1x Cache & 9x Data drives, but apart from the Cache drive, I have no idea what order the drives were in, is there anyway I can find out? At this moment, I'm unsure if it was just the USB that got courrupt or the server data as well, but I'd rather try and salvage what I can rather than have to start again. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cheers.
April 30, 20197 yr Community Expert Assign all array drives as data drives, start the array, there should be only one unmountable drive, that would be parity, then do a new config and re-assign them. If there's more than one unmountable drive grab and post diagnostics.

Not unless you assign a data disk to the parity slot.
April 30, 20197 yr Author Cheers johnnie.black that's helped me out loads, had some corruption on my cache drive, but that's no issue as the main data is still all good, thank you so much for for your help.
