May 1, 20197 yr Hello, unraid is not able to detect any network on my HP DL980 G7, can you help me out please. syslinux.cfg
May 1, 20197 yr Community Expert The file you provided provides nothing useful. If you want any useful feedback then you are going to need to provide the system diagnostics zip file. This can be obtained via Tools->Diagnostics from the GUI or using the 'diagnostics' command in a console session to write it to the logs folder on the USB stick.
May 1, 20197 yr Author I already used the command diagnostics, got the massage that it is completed, but it was not created the folder is still not there Edited May 1, 20197 yr by eduardschlegel
May 1, 20197 yr Community Expert The screen shot you posted shows that the system did attempt to write to the logs folder on the USB drive (which should be mounted as /boot). If you think it is not there then please post the output of the 'df' command so that we can check that the USB stick is correctly being mounted during the boot process at /boot.
May 1, 20197 yr Community Expert OK that screenshot shows that the USB stick is not being mounted in the later stages of the booting process. This may explain why you have no network connection as network drivers are located on the USB stick. On the basis it looks like there is a problem with the USB stick: - What make/model of USB stick are you using? - How was it created? It needs to be a drive of 32GB or less formatted to FAT32, and labelled as 'UNRAID'. - Is it USB2 or USB3? USB2 drives tend to be more reliable - Is it plugged into a USB2 or a USB3 port? Again USB2 ports seem to be more reliable during the boot process.
May 1, 20197 yr Author It's a San Disk Ultra USB 3.0 32GB plugged in to a USB2.0 port. It's created using the Unraid creation tool and labeled "Unraid". During the boot there are some reports like "USB1 not mounted; USB2 not....". I will try another stick. Edited May 1, 20197 yr by eduardschlegel

May 1, 20197 yr Community Expert The name needs to be 'UNRAID' (i.e. in capitals) for it to be recognised. However the USB creation tool should have set that. The messages about not mounting the drive during the boot would be a typical symptom of Unraid not finding the USB stick to mount. What OS were you running when creating the USB stick? It might be worth trying to create the USB stick again using the manual method to see if that helps.
May 1, 20197 yr Author It's "UNRAID" sry I was running Windows 10 I tried 3 other USB sticks in 4Gb and 8Gb, but its not finishing on every stick beside the stick I used before Edited May 1, 20197 yr by eduardschlegel
May 1, 20197 yr Author Perfect it just works fine. Thank you so much I got it running from an USB 2.0 drive.
