Moving my drives around

I got me a nice 5 sata into 3 5.25 bays. I want to now refit my drives in there, is it ok to just move all the SATA cables around willy nilly or do they have to go back into the drive they were in ?

    It's OK, devices are tracked by serial number, not port/controller.
