Slow docker downloads

hi,

occasionally docker downloads are extremly slow, like 10 or more minutes for a 300mb pull.

is this normal/intended?

i recreated my docker image and now its downloading for ages.

for example i need image id f5490867ccf2 which is 36mb big and it took like 12min.

my network and internet works fine, its just the docker pulls which are (sometimes) extremely slow.

 

why is that?
