Errors - Not sure what to do

Featured Replies

Hi,

Sometime last month I was looking at the Main tab of the Unraid Server in my browser and noticed in the Errors column for disk 1 there were 373 errors. I usually run a Parity Check once a month at or near the beginning of the month, so when I ran this month's parity check I was very interested to see what would happen to this figure.

Well, now the errors column shows 373 errors for Disk 1, AND 336 errors on the Parity disk too! Not sure what to do about this. I've captured the Sys Log and attached it.

For what it's worth, next to the 'History' button - the following appears "Last check completed on Thu 02 May 2019 06:02:48 AM NZST (three days ago), finding 0 errors."

I'm not as tech-savvy as I'd like to be (so please be gentle!), but any help is much appreciated!

Thanks,

Ross

They appear to be genuine disks errors, and both disks are showing some warnings on SMART, though for now these read errors can be intermittent, run an extended SMART test on both disks.
