I may have f**** up all of my data, please help

So I had problems with my cache drive, as it was overfilling, and decided to add a second one, but with a smaller size that i had lying around. So that didn't work as intended because of raid 1, but now I wanted to backtrack:

I turned off cash disk for all shares,

moved over all data from cache to hdds

went to tools > new config.

checked preserve parity and data drives.

 

Now my Array shows all drives with blue squares for a new drive, and states: "

All existing data on this device will be OVERWRITTEN when array is Started"

 

Also for some reason I still can't reduce the cache slots back to 1.

 

Please Help me.

 

 

 

Edit: 

In Panic, I didn't see this is intended behaviour, and only PARITY will be overwritten...

    There is a checkbox to tell it not to rebuild parity.
