dockers gone

Featured Replies

been having a bit of trouble with server and faulty disk, disk is going to be replaced, however, after numerous reboots and dirty shutdowns, docker is saying there are no docker containers installed ?...whats happened, can i get them back with all the settings intact ?

It sounds as if the docker.img file has been lost or corrupted?     If so you should check in the docker settings where it is located and it is probably a good idea to stop the docker service; delete any current image; restart the docker service to create a new clean image.    If you then go to the Apps tab you can go to the Previous Apps section to reinstall your containers with their previous settings.   As long as the ‘appdata’ folders used by those containers is OK you will then be up and running exactly as you were before.
