pengrus
Hey, just looking for some help in identifying the bad ram stick(s) vexing my server at the moment. Seems like CPU-0 DIMMs 1 and 2, which I assume are A2 and B1? There are 16 of them, so if there's a convention I'm missing, I'd greatly appreciate the assist. Thanks! -P tower-diagnostics-20190506-2345.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Board should have a system event log, there might be more info there. Quote Link to comment
pengrus
It does, but there isn't. Apparently whatever is happening isn't triggering that logging mechanism. Guess I'm down to trial and error? Quote Link to comment

pengrus
Ha! Hilariously, I just pulled out A0 and everything seems to be fine, no more memory errors and a parity check is moving at the appropriate pace. I do have a question though, as I said, I pulled A0, but the server now registers that I am down 8GB, instead of 4GB. In other words, I have 60GB of RAM installed, but unRAID only sees 56GB, is this by design? Something about dual channel maybe? Quote Link to comment
