ProphetSe7en Posted May 8, 2019 Share Posted May 8, 2019 I have a Areca 1880i card I want to use with Intel Raid expander and unRaid. Can I use the Areca card and add drives one by one to unRaid like I can when connecting the drives directly to my motherboard? Will I get smart status and temp readings when using Areca? tr0910 Posted May 9, 2019 Share Posted May 9, 2019 Most if not all Areca success was with 1280 generation of adapters. I don't know what the status with the 1880 generation might be. I am running those older generation cards without issue on one server still today. @bonienl did the last Areca integration work. Check with him on the 1880.
