I have a VM with vDisks on the cache array. When the main dish array gets close to being full (which happens every couple of months) the VMs all pause, despite having plenty of space on the cache and no vDisks outside the cache.

 

Is there a way to disable this behaviour? I don't want the VMs to pause ever.

Make sure the share where the vdisks are exists only on cache and it's set to cache="only"

Thanks Johnnie. I can confirm a single vdisk on cache and its share only exists on cache (no stray empty folders) and the share is set to cache only.

Next time it happens please post the diags.
